Offered as a continuation of core programming provided during the fellowship experience, Surge alumni can request additional executive coaching support at a significantly reduced rate.
Executive coaching can help alumni:
Uncover creeping sources of self-doubt, fear, and imposter syndrome that may have re-emerged during their leadership journey after their Surge fellowship.
Jump-start their career, plan for upcoming transitions or manage current ones, and refresh job-search materials.
Manage tensions and growing pains as they take on more responsibilities and transition into more senior roles.
Game-plan their freedom dream and get support in launching or growing a current venture or initiative.
Each year, alumni can submit a request for the Surge Alumni Impact team to support with up to five (5) executive coaching sessions with a Surge-approved executive coach.
Coaching requests are now closed for the 2025-26 year. Please check back this fall to request coaching for the 2026-27 year. We'll also announce its launch through our biweekly Alumni Digest newsletter.
Selected alumni should be prepared to:
Establishing goals for professional development and reflecting on those goals
Preparing for sessions
Establishing a focus for sessions ahead of time
Being fully present and engaged during sessions
Maintaining a regular schedule for coaching sessions
Being proactive about cancellations/rescheduling
